will be launched on Saturday 9th October, 5.30 for 6pm at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art, as part of the program for the Queensland Poetry Festival. Mandy's "Book Bimbo's" will be ready to tantalize all with their flair and flirting along with a great big fat handful of QLD Artists (Including a film by Stef Petrik, Music by Xine and performances by Clare Carmody, Kirsten McEncore, photography by Mandana Mapar and Mari Hirata, words by Matt Foley and more to be announced)

"The Regular Correspondence of a Love Affair with Words" has gone to the printer and the promo material is done for the book launch. Lots of fun stuff is happening in the writing world! All is going great guns, and the other exciting news for you all is that Mandy, will this month be wearing a pink satin dress, for her mate Kirsten's Wedding (ohh hear the gasps and chuckles already - never again will anyone ever see Mandy in bloody PINK).

Mandy Beaumont's first collection of poetry,"The regular correspondence of a love affair with words" ($14.95) will be launched on Saturday 9th October, as part of the program for the Queensland Poetry Festival (held at the Judith Wright Centre) . The night will include performances by Neridah Waters and Amanda - Lyn Pearson (watch out for Amanda - Lyn's amazing and confronting new show "Choice" which will be at the Judith Wright Centre the following week). The night will also have the much anticipated launch of Mandy's "Book Bimbos".

Friday the 5th of March, Mandy Beaumont and Marika Sosnowski will be showcasing a poetry instillation at Avid Reader as part of the "West End Affair"

Sunday the 7th March, Mandy Beaumont will be performing at the monthly "Speedpoets" readings at Belushi's Bar in Fortitude Valley - 2 till 6pm (www.speedpoets.zap.to). The Speedpoets "Best of 2003" book will be launched through Impressed Publishing and the monthly Speedpoets zine (featuring some of Brisbane's best poets, along with International contributors) will be available as well. Come along, have a beer and enjoy your Sunday afternoon.
